Anti-Semitism
Anti-Semitism is due to a curse that the Lord has placed upon the Jewish people for not obeying him. He said that they would be
scattered among the nations and be hated among them.
"And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee." (Deuteronomy 28:37)
"Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:" (1 Kings 9:7)
"But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations." (2 Chronicles 7:19-20)
"And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them."
(Jeremiah 24:9)
"Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 29:17-19)
"Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people." (Psalms 44:14)
"Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries." (Ezekiel 22:4)
Why doesn't Israel have peace?
For not worshipping as told they have been cursed, and could it be because when Israeli leaders drafted their declaration of independence they wanted the declaration to be acceptable to all religions and atheist?
There was no reference to the God of Israel in the document, but closes only
with the phrase "with trust in the Rock of Israel". The founders of
the state of Israel saw their nation as a secular state, and not based on a
covenant with the One who had given them the land in the first place, and thus
this is most likely why Israel faces so many problems today.
"And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not: So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:" (Zechariah 8:13-16)
