How a Christian should dress revolves around a few simple things, first no
cross dressing, second dress modestly, third don't mix linen and wool threads
when sewing.
Leviticus 19:19 "Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shall not let
thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shall not sow thy field with
mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon
thee."
Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertains
unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so
are abomination unto the LORD thy God."
Deuteronomy 22:11-12 " Thou shall not wear a garment of divers
sorts, as of woolen and linen together. Thou shall make thee fringes upon
the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou covers thyself."
1 Timothy 2:9-10 "In like manner also, that women adorn
themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with
broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But [which becomes
women professing godliness] with good works."
The law which the Lord gave through Moses to the children of Israel forbade
"cross-dressing" as an "abomination", a strong word for this
immoral conduct.
The main thing is that men are not to portray themselves as women, nor women
as men. Women's clothes and men's clothes are very different in appearance and
cut, and should be.
