Pestilences and Disease
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
(Matthew 24:7)
"Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time
is. [For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left
his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work,
and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know
not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at
the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you
sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch" (Mark 13:33-37)
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

In Revelation 6, we read about a series of seals that are opened one
after another, with each uncovering a major event of the latter days, such
as war, disease, and famine. In
many respects, these things have been on-going for a long time, but
towards the end they will increase in severity.
Prophecy speaks of the
coming shortage food and water, pestilences, and natural
disasters, can it be any clearer?
That we are getting close to the end, which means the tribulation (the coming
anguish of human kind), if it has not already begun, is about to begin.
At some point Satan is Allowed to Control the Weather and Diseases.
The Lord removed his protection from Job and Allowed Satan to Test Job,
Showing that Satan has powers to control both the weather and diseases.
"While he was yet speaking, there came also another,
and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep,
and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell
thee." (Job 1:16)
"And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the
four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead;
and I only am escaped alone to tell thee." (Job 1:19)
"So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown." (Job 2:7)
