The Truth About The Mark In the Forehead And Hand
Is the mark of the beast a tattoo or computer chip as many claim? Why not let Scripture answer this subject!
2 Peter 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
First lets start with the mark of God. Yes, Gods people also receive a mark in their forehead, or in their hand just as those that follow the beast.
The Mark of God
Exodus 13:9 "And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth:..."
Exodus 13:16-18 " And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: .... And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, ... Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: (speaking of the Sabbath) for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God."Exodus 31:13 " ...Verily my sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 "And you shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shall teach them diligently unto thy children (teach the sign to your children), and shall talk of them (Gods laws) when thou sit in thine house, and when thou walks by the way, and when thou lies down, and when thou rises up. And thou shall bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. (bind what? the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments) And thou shall write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."
Deuteronomy 11:18-19 "Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them (teach the sign, Gods law, to your children) your children, speaking of them when thou sit in thine house, and when thou walks by the way, when thou lies down, and when thou rises up."
Jeremiah 44:25 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths (expressed what's in your mind), and fulfilled with your hand (carried out what's in your mind), saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven (false religion), and to pour out drink offerings unto her:.."
Revelation 7:3 "Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads (found them to have a godly spirit within them)."
Revelation 14:1 "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads (get that? they have the true Fathers/Gods name in their minds)."
Did you notice that the marks involve action?
John 3:32-33 "And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true."
Revelation 22:4 "And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads."
Could it be any clearer after reading the above that the sign in the head or hand of Gods people is referring
to learning, teaching, and keeping the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments of God.
Could the mark of the beast be a counterfeit of Gods mark?
Revelation 13:17 "so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name (notice that the mark revolves around a religious name)."
Revelation 14:9-12 "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (the mark constitutes worship) the same will drink of the wrath of God... who worship the beast and his image, (worship the beast, a computer chip is not worship) and whosoever receives the mark of his name (again it involves a religious name)."
Revelation 16:2 "And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image." (worship)
Revelation 19:20 "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image." (again involving worship)
Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (the beast has to do with false worship)
The Name and Number
History tells us millions were martyred because they refused to worship the Roman
Emperors
(receive the mark of the beast). Those who were martyred
refused to worship the church and state, to conform to the idolatry and pagan
customs of the Holy Empire.
This mark, which is presently referred to as traditional
Christianity, involves obedience to the beast, over obedience to God. Those who do not have the mark of the beast are those who do not commit false
worship, but instead keep the commandments of God. The beast will persecute
those which keep the true commandments of God. The mark of the beast represents

Revelation 12:12 "Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, and because he knows that he has but a short time. And the Dragon is enraged with the woman (Gods people), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
The mark of the beast clearly involves obedience, whether to obey God's
laws or man's laws (false Christianity).
Ezekiel 9:4-5 "And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:"
And just as it happened here in Ezekiel, at the end, those not marked will
not be spared, or pity for those that have forsaken God's will.
