When does the day of the Lord begin? John said that the "Day of the
Lord" had already begun, and that he was in it. The Day of the Lord
encompasses past, present, and future events.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
(Revelation 1:10)
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
(Revelation 1:19)
How long is the Day of the Lord? A thousand years.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(2 Peter 3:8)
Warning to the Churches
The warning to the churches is part of the sequence of revelation, as well as
a warning to God's People, for the Lord said
that he would not do anything without revealing it to his servants first. It is
a warning to the churches to get ready for what is coming, it is the preparation
time before the first seal.
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
(Revelation 1:11)
Read Revelation 2 & 3's warnings.
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
(Amos 3:7)
The Seven Seals
The seven seals were things that would be continuous right up until the time of Christ's return, yet would increase in scope as we come closer to the end of this age, they are also referred to as the beginning of sorrows Matthew 24:8.
The first six seals have been occurring throughout history, but will increase in intensity as we close in on the end of this age.
First Seal = False Preachers / Teachers / Prophets
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(Revelation 6:2)
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and
shall deceive many.
(Matthew 24:5)
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
(Matthew 24:11)
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or
there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they
shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in
the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the
east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be.
(Matthew 24:23-27)
And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive
you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many.
(Mark 13:5-6)
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there;
believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew
signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
(Mark 13:21-22)
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name,
saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
(Luke 21:8)
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their
own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they
shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But
watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make
full proof of thy ministry.
(2 Timothy 4:3-4)
Second Seal = Global Conflicts / Wars
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
(Revelation 6:4)
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(Matthew 24:6-7)
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such
things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:.
(Mark 13:7-8)
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these
things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto
them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
(Luke 21:9-10)
Third Seal = Drought / Food Shortages Due to severe weather conditions world wide food production is dropping and will continue to worsen.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
(Revelation 6:5-6)
and there shall be famines, and pestilences,
(Matthew 24:7)
and there shall be famines and troubles:
(Mark 13:8)
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and
famines
( Luke 21:11)
Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
(Joel 1:2-20)
Fourth Seal = Sickness / Pestilence Many diseases that where thought to have been eradicated are now on the come back.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
(Revelation 6:8)
Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.
(Deuteronomy 28:59-62)
and there shall be famines, and pestilences,
( Matthew 24:7)
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and
famines, and pestilences;
(Luke 21:11)
Fifth Seal = Christians Values under Attack
World Wide Many laws worldwide prohibit public acknowledgement of Christian values or faith.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their
fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
(Revelation 6:9-11)
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
(Matthew 24:9-10)
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up
to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought
before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. (10) And the
gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you,
and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do
ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye:
for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray
the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against
their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of
all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same
shall be saved.
(Mark 13:9-13)
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you,
and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being
brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for
a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye
shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries
shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by
parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they
cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye
your souls.
(Luke 21:12-19)
Sixth Seal = Signs in the Sky and on the Earth Earthquakes and storms have been increasing in intensity with more lives and property being lost, this is the last warning to mankind to repent before the last plagues are poured out.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
(Revelation 6:12-14)
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
(Matthew 24:29)
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
(Luke 21:25)
And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
(Acts 2:19-20)
With Covid 19 all nations are in distress at this time.
God's People are Sealed
"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of
trial, which shall come upon the whole world." (Revelation 3:10)
At the end of the sixth seal, and before opening the seventh seal, God's people are sealed for protection from the remaining seventh
seal, the hour of trial? NOTE! That Gods people remain on the earth during this time.
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the
earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the
earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from
the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to
the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying,
Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the
servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which
were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all
the tribes of the children of Israel. Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of
Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
(Revelation 7:1-8)
Seventh Seal = The Lords wrath Is a combination of seven different things that occur in seven successive stages and are referred to as the seven trumpet plagues.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was
silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels
which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel
came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto
him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon
the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense,
which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the
angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the
altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and
lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets
prepared themselves to sound.
(Revelation 8:1-6)
1st Trumpet = Fire and hail destroy a third part of all trees and grass.
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and
fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part
of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(Revelation 8:7)
2nd Trumpet = One third of all the oceans become barren
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great
mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the
sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea,
and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
(Revelation 8:8-9)
3rd Trumpet = One third of all fresh water is poisoned.
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great
star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part
of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is
called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many
men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
(Revelation 8:10-11)
4th Trumpet = Thick smog.
And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of
the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the
stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a
third part of it, and the night likewise.
(Revelation 8:12)
The 3 Woes = The last 3 trumpets of the seventh seal.
And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the
midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of
the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels,
which are yet to sound!
(Revelation 8:13)
5th Trumpet = Military / Political Superpower under the control of Satan
bring havoc upon the nations of the world. (1st WOE)
(Last revived Empire = European Union)
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the
earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the
bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a
great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of
the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them
was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was
commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any
green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of
God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill
them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as
the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men
seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall
flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared
unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their
faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and
their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were
breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of
chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto
scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt
men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the
bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek
tongue hath his name Apollyon. One woe is past; and, behold, there come two
woes more hereafter.
(Revelation 9:1-12)
One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
(Revelation 9:12)
6th Trumpet = Third of mankind killed by an army of two hundred thousand thousand. (Eurasian?)
(2nd WOE)
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from
the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth
angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the
great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared
for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of
men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand
thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the
vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of
jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of
lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these
three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by
the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their
mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had
heads, and with them they do hurt. And the rest of the men which were not
killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that
they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and
stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither
repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their
fornication, nor of their thefts.
(Revelation 9:13-21)
The Two Witnesses = Last call for Mankind to Repent
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the
angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and
them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out,
and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall
they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two
witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,
clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire
proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will
hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven,
that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to
turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they
will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall
overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of
the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord
was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall
see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead
bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice
over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these
two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an
half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their
feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice
from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in
a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great
earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were
slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to
the God of heaven.
(Revelation 11:1-14)
The second woe is past; and, behold, the third
woe cometh quickly.
(Revelation 11:14)
The 7th Trumpet = Is a combination of seven last plagues, called
Vials. (3rd WOE)
The last plagues are poured out in the presence of Christ, the angels, and all his
redeemed.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great
voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms
of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the
four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their
faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy
great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is
come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou
shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and
them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which
destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was
seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and
voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
(Revelation 11:15-19)
And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to
the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God
upon the earth.
(Revelation 16:1)
1st Vial = Noisome and grievous sores
And the first went, and poured out his vial
upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which
had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
(Revelation 16:2)
2nd Vial = The seas turn to blood
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea;
and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the
sea.
(Revelation 16:3)
3rd Vial = Fresh waters turn to blood
And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers
and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
(Revelation 16:4)
4th Vial = The Earth heats up
And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun;
and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched
with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these
plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
(Revelation 16:8-9)
5th Vial = Great pain inflicted upon the Beast and his kingdom
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of
the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues
for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their
sores, and repented not of their deeds.
(Revelation 16:10-11)
6th Vial = The Euphrates river dries up
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great
river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings
of the east might be prepared.
(Revelation 16:12)
7th Vial = Massive earthquake and hail as the nations gather against
Jerusalem
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of
the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the
mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working
miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come
as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he
walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place
called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his
vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven,
from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and
lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were
upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was
divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great
Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine
of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains
were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every
stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the
plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
(Revelation 16:13-21)
Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of
Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I
will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth,
and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of
armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling
swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and
helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters,
and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare
for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be
thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter
years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and
is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have
been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall
dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt
be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people
with thee. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the
same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil
thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I
will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling
without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take
a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited,
and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten
cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, and Dedan, and
the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto
thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a
prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a
great spoil? Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not
know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and
many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a
mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to
cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against
my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O
Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have
spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in
those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come
to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith
the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in
the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great
shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of
the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep
upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall
shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep
places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call
for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every
man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with
pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and
upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great
hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify
myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know
that I am the LORD.
(Ezekiel 38:2-23)
Battle of Jerusalem / Christ begins his reign / Satan bound (1st battle)
And after these things I heard a great voice of much
people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power,
unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath
judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and
hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said,
Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty
elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne,
saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our
God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I
heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many
waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord
God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for
the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to
her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write,
Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he
saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to
worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant,
and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the
testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened, and
behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and
in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire,
and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew,
but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name
is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon
white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth
a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them
with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING
OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he
cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of
heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of
mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh
of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and
the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against
him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and
with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he
deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the
horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled
with their flesh.
(Revelation 19:1-21)
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit
and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent,
which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into
the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should
deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and
after that he must be loosed a little season.
(Revelation 20:1-3)
The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies;
he shall wound the heads over many countries.
(Psalms 110:5-6)
Christ Reigns a Thousand Years
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment
was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the
beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or
in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the
rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is
the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests
of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
(Revelation 20:4-6)
The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it
shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall
be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the
hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say,
Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God
of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for
out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And
he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall
beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation
shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
(Isaiah 2:1-4)
Satan is Released (2nd battle)
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be
loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in
the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to
battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the
breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the
beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And
the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for
ever and ever.
(Revelation 20:7-10)
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against
Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O
Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of
armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, and
Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto
Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O
Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
(Ezekiel 38:1-23)
Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O
Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. And I will send a fire on
Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the
handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of
Hamongog. And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of
Hamongog. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of
Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
(Ezekiel 39:1-28)
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst
of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city
shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the
city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be
cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those
nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in
that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and
the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward
the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to
the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto
Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days
of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with
thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear,
nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor
night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it
shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of
them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer
and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in
that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. All the land shall be turned
as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up,
and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first
gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's
winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter
destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. And this shall be the
plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against
Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and
their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume
away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult
from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand
of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round
about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great
abundance. And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel,
and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this
plague. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the
nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to
worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And
it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no
rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;
there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come
not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt,
and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of
tabernacles. In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS
UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before
the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the
LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and
seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the
house of the LORD of hosts.
(Zechariah 14:1-21)
A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame
burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people. Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the
caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
(Joel 2:2-32)
The Great White Throne Judgment
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the
dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according
to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and
hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man
according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire.
(Revelation 20:11-15)
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
(Zechariah 13:8-9)
Day of the Lord Ends
A New Heaven and Earth
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first
heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I
John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of
heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with
them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be
their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be
no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are
true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of
the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I
will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and
the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death. And there came unto me one of the seven
angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with
me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he
carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that
great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the
glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a
jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve
gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the
names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates;
on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the
twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to
measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city
lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the
city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the
height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty
and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And
the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like
unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished
with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second,
sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx;
the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a
topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an
amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one
pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the
temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine
in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the
kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it
shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they
shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no
wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of
life.
(Revelation 21:1-27)
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out
of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner
of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were
for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne
of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And
they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there
shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for
the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
(Revelation 22:1-5)
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
(Isaiah 65:17-25)
For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD. For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
(Isaiah 66:18-24)
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
(Amos 9:11-12)
Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
(Zechariah 8:3-5)
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their
dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
(Ezekiel 37:21-28)
Make no mistake about it, we are already in the Day of the Lord.
Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to
escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of
man."
