What shall be the sign of His coming, and of the end of the world?
The Lord has always told his people what he is about to do, before he does it.
There are many deceivers in the world who are in the service of Satan, the father of lies.
These deceivers are the first to shout out the two verses below when someone
says that we are in the last few years of this earth age, and that the sorrows
have begun leading to the tribulation of the earth.
Always the true prophets and ministers of God have stood almost alone and opposed by the overwhelming majority. That is Israel's history of
old and it is true today.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24:36)
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. (Mark 13:32)
They say, see! No one can know that this earth age is finally about to end
with the return of our Lord. Yet what it says is that no one will know the exact
day or time, which has nothing to do with knowing the approximate year. The Lord
himself said that his followers would know the approximate year by the things
going on in the world.
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
(Amos 3:7)
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from
heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. (Luke 21:10-12)
And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. (Luke 21:16-17)
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.... For
nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and
ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And
many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:3-14)
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and
false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:23-24)
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
(Matthew 24:32-33)
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many... For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of
sorrows. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the
brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their
parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
(Mark 13:6-12)
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For
false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. (Mark 13:21-22)
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner,
when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the
doors. (Mark 13:28-29)
But you say that you have been hearing that for years, but have you heard Hosea's prophecy
which gives us an approximate year
of his return?
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his
sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. (Hosea 6:1-3)
Now a day is a thousand years to the Lord,
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the
night.
(Psalms 90:4)
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.
(2 Peter 3:8)
So after two days (two thousand years), Jesus will return, to raise us
up to live with him for a thousand years (the third day).
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but
they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand
years. (Revelation 20:6)
We are also told that his return will be under two thousand years, but
we do not know how much under that is.
"And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but
for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:22)
"And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the
days." (Mark 13:20)
The Lord left around 30/31 BC, which means his return will be around 2030/31
or sooner.
Can it be any clearer?
We have but a few years left, don't waste them, if you are in the church,
prepare! If you have not fully accepted the Lord into your life by living
according to his word, time is running out!
